@MarioMaster1979 My story is very similar. when i listen to this song it bring back memories of my late grandfather and i cant help but cry a little. crying from sadness and happyness. There needs to be more positive attitudes like yours Mario. thanks for you beautiful post.

6 days ago, my grandad passed away at the age of 77, he was the most influential man ive ever known, to battle TB since he was 24 and cancer since 1996. to battle it all, he was a plasterer for 50 years. I quit my job yesterday and went to 30 plasterers in my town and asked to work for free, Im now unpaid, But im doing what my grandad did. Eventually, I will make him proud, if i end up half the man he was, I ll be a damm good person. THANKS GRANDAD LAD! love youxxxxx

My grandfather died when I was 7 years old... Here I sit, 24, and I think of how I am. How I am a photographer just like he was, I'm as tall as he was, I drink black coffee just like him, I put family before everything else, I love everyone I meet just as he wanted me to. I wake up and think "What can I do today to be half the man he was?" Thank you Neil Young for helping me remember who I am, and what life is truly about.

I just turned 57, and when this was a radio hit I was 16. I'm still that young man, rebelling against older authority....I'll always be that 24 year old guy.
