Thanks for this - I remember it well as 'Transmission' shaped so much of my music taste back then, whether I stayed up or taped it.
I prob have this and a number of other nuggets on the pile of going-mouldy VHS tapes in my basement!
The first two Popguns CD albums were complete genius and Wendy was a top 'real' front-woman

I remember "Transmission" - bloody good TV show but on in the middle of the night! The BBC's "SnubTV" was also good. Great alternative/indie stuff on these shows - made up for the crap pop charts!

Transmission was always good "post Student night at he local Ritzy" telly on at about 3 in the morning.
It was the only place you could see half the bands that we were in to, back then.
I've still got an old VHS tape with Robert LLoyd and the New Four Seasons on it. Fantastic stuff.

I think the Robert Lloyd track was "Sign Of the Anchor"?

'role of the anchor'. I bought the album on the strength of that track. Needless to say, like most of my indie album purchases in those days, it was totally crap and only played once or twice!!!
