This is how I am greeted whenever I come home after work EVERY DAY. I must admit I am most blessed. I am always torn between how long I wait before I recognize my dog Sara because the longer I ignore her, the more adamant she is about getting her hug. Sara is the dog from the "Dog in Swing" video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPZuHFrawz4

  • MrDtrol - why such vitriolic hatred? So sad, and as always, any posts with profanity will be deleted. Please respect other people and especially children.

  • I think it's mean the way you ignore the pooch. She shows you the upmost adoration than anyone else in the family and you ignore her, even if it's a joke.

  • My Lab & Chihuahua do this to me EVERY TIME too. Love them. I have to hold him back, because he runs at me like he's gonna tackle me.The Chihuahua walks around on her hind leg's wanting picked up and they both wine like babies.I have to hold the Chi. in 1 arm and pet and hug the Lab with the other. Quote~You lock your spouse and your dog in the trunk for and hour, when you open the lid who do you think will be happy to see you??? Unconditional love♥

  • I thought he was ignoring Sara too, but then realized he was making her wait for the video.

  • Stop getting so worked up about the dad not giving Sara affection when she was at the door whining and demanding, know your facts.

  • sad thing that the dog was the happier and the first greeting the owner but the owner left him for last ...

  • I'm suprised more dogs do not pee with excitment when they see their owners come home

  • Awesome portrayal of a PACK LEADER, not just by dad, but by the whole family. The dog learns patience and discipline and THEN gets affection. Sara is obviously loved and in a balanced home! Too all of you who think this is cruel, you are 100% wrong

  • Well... I would have felt much better about this video if the father at least petted the doggie instead completely ignoring her when he first came in. Sorry. Not impressed.
