I'm glad I got the collection pack as a gift. I enjoy the Gold the most out of the 4 but I would never pay more for a blended malt over a single. Generally overrated. Like Grey Goose, it's a status symbol.

the top blended scotch whisky is going in that order:
1. Chivas regal 25
2. Ballantines 30
3. Chivas regal 18
4. JW Blue Label
5. etc....

@lastplacewin blue is blended too, lol eh..... It may put it in the dust on taste and price TO YOU, but the rarity isn't there.

Chivas Regal 18 leaves this in the dust, even for a blended.

enjoy the sip my friend. Here we're blessed with Total Wine in sin city and they have some of the best prices. I got me a green and gold for 35 and 47 bucks. So I'm trying all the JW line. The only drink I drink throughout the year is the Black Label. I tend to like the Green more except for its price which is usually around 50. This Holiday season I'm trying all. Specially their ltd edition of double black. Next is the Blue. I'm waiting for new year's eve to buy it at $122. You can't beat that
