Holly Taylor from Linda Gilroy MP’s Plymouth Sutton constituency office abseiled 6 storeys down the side of Dingles department store in Plymouth City Centre.

The descent was part of a fund raising event organised by the Royal British Legion. Most well known for their annual Poppy Appeal, the charity helps both Serving and ex Service men and women and their families. They provide financial, social and emotional support not only to those who fought in the two world wars, but also those involved in conflicts up to the present day.

Holly raised over £250 for the charity and would encourage everyone to get involved in future events – no matter how terrifying they may seem!

The abseil took place on Saturday 9 May 2009 on the side of the House of Fraser (Dingles) in Plymouth City Centre.
