Hank C. Burnette - "Hillbilly Wolf"

I first got acquainted with this track from an old compilation 'cheapie' album in the late '60s, or perhaps early '70s. I ran an import/wholesale business back then, on a small but pretty lucrative basis and imported thousands upon thousands of 'cut-out' records, as well as truckloads of cheapie albums on labels like Design, Crown and God knows what! A lot of the artist's names on those albums were most often than not changed, so it took a few more years for me to discover that "The Hillbilly Wolf" was in fact performed by Link Wray in his pre-"Rumble" days! And, no doubt, this has to be one of the oldest vocal recordings I've uploaded here on YT, so far!! So it's indeed a 'dusty oldie' if I ever saw one, at least as far as yours truly is concerned! And, quite frankly, I wasn't originally going to upload it, but I've received a few requests for it from cats that's obviously heard it from my Dutch United Rock album release from days gone by, so...kind as I am (?), here it is! But keep in mind that a lot of water has passed under the bridge since this one was born! All the best, Hank C...
