  • This sounded reasonable, I listened, I got worse. The Endo also wanted me to irradiate my Thyroid to measure it's function. First, does that sound reasonable to anyone? Not doing it! So then I sought an Osteopathic Doctor on a referral and guess what he said, GET BACK on the Iodine. After two weeks, the majority of my body tremors have stopped, I've gained back ~10 pounds, and I feel WAY better.

    SUMMARY: get a second opinion and stay away from those who want to drug, or cut, or zap your body!

  • Notice how the very FIRST approach by Western medicine is pharmaceuticals, radiation, and/or surgery. WTF? Western medicine is so barbaric. My FT4 was 8.8, my TSH .007, I lost 40 lbs in about 4 months, so I sought the advise of an Ayurvedic doctor who suggested some herbs, a special tea, and Iodine. I started feeling a little better. Then I saw an Endocrinologist who told me to GET AWAY from the Iodine because it's the substrate that the Thyroid uses to produce Thyroid hormone....continued
