Tip #1: Hold the tail of the needle's thread while swiping with scissors to pull the bobbin's thread up.

Tip #2: If your bottom loops are loose or bunching, try checking your tension setting (mine is a knob) for the upper thread, it is likely too low.

Tip #3: The tool I used to thread the needle did not come with my sewing machine, but it is very inexpensive and will save you time and frustration.

Good luck and happy sewing!

  • read your manual, you always hold your thread from the needle when you are bringing up the bobbin thread.i have the same machine. you can also do free hand quilting and monogram and embroidering with it too, by putting on the darning plate and removing the presser foot and foot holder. also it helps to see it being done on youtube.

  • @SirTim5 Ah, thank you! I will try holding it next time! I honestly don't know where my manual is! I got a Instructional DVD that I never feel like getting out and playing, so it is just easier for me to log on to YouTube and watch the video! :)

  • does the sewing machine come with the SEWING MACHINE FOOT PEDAL?
