Autumn in Izard 2011: Chandler's Cave

The first of at least two videos covering EIC's activities during the Fall of 2011. This video includes our visit to what we strongly believe is "Chandler's Cave". This cave is where Young Jesse Jeffery (Brother to Jehoiada) hid out while avoiding capture after he killed old man Henderson during a dispute between the families. By killing Henderson, Jesse saved his father, Old Jim Jeffery. The cave was also used by Old Jesse (Brother to Old Jim Jeffery) to counterfeit money before the gang would float down White and Mississippi Rivers to New Orleans stopping each day to exchange their funny mony and leaving out under cover of night to float on downstream to the next settlement.
