I've uploaded one of my favourite songs called Sign of the Cross from The X-Factor album (1995).

But my YouTube.com limit is 10 minutes so I need to cut choir intro to upload song.
Really sorry...

Enjoy!

Eleven saintly shrouded men
Silhouettes stand against the sky
One in front with a cross held high
Come to wash my sins away

Standing alone in the wind and rain
Feeling the fear that is growing
Sensing the change in the tide again
Brought by the storm that is brewing
Feel the anxiety hold off the fear
Some of the doubt in the things you believe
Now that your faith will be put to the test
Nothing to do but await what is coming

Why the is God still protecting me
Even when I don't deserve it
Though I am meant to face this alone
Asking the question time and again
Praying to God won't keep me alive
Inside my head feel the fear start to rise...

They'll be saying their prayers when the moment comes
There'll be penance to pay when it's judgment day
And the guilty'll bleed when that moment comes
They'll be coming to claim, take your soul away

The sign of the cross
The name of the rose... a fire in the sky
The sign of the cross

They'll be comming to bring the eternal flame
They'll be bringing us all immortality
Holding communion so the world be blessed
My creator, my God'll lay my soul to rest

The sign of the cross
The name of the rose... a fire in the sky
The sign of the cross

Lost the love of heaven above
Chose the lust of the earth below
Eleven saintly shrouded men
Came to wash my sins away

  • I don't care what you guys say about Bruce and Blaze and who sings it better (both great singers and both nail this song perfectly imo). The thing is, this is such a masterpiece of music that nothing can ruin it, not even the bad production, hell it would be a great song even if Steve Harris fucking sang it.

  • I don't care about the singer Iron Maiden is Steve Harris !!!!!!

  • UP the Iron! Up the Blaze!

  • Hello! Have you thought about anxiety zero technique (It is at anxiety0.info)? Ive heard some great things about it and my friend pretty much cured panicks with it.

  • well, it's not the classic maiden sound, but it's super!, btw, before Blaze was admitted, Michael Kiske was on the singer prospect's list, I still wonder, how would have been if Kiske was admitted into Maiden.....

  • @gugfish id beg to differ about the last part. this song live with bruce is outstanding. better then the original. but original isnt bad.

  • Maiden with Blaze did some good stuff, in the studio , but live they were shite!!!

  • @sabreboy fffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccckkkkkkkk you. mother fuker whore

  • @sabreboy

just give up on life and swallow cyanide before i come to your house and bring my slaughter to your daughter...and you. and it.will.be.MESSY!

  • @sabreboy go suck a mop u idiot

  • @gugfish I agree completel. There was some strong nostalgia going on, obviously Maiden had to change their sound, but they did it in such a way that they stayed Maiden. You have to agree the albums were not that great though, but you can find some hidden jewels, such as Sign of the Cross (one of their best epics IMHO), Clansman and so on.
