    Are There Photodiodes or Phototransistors ?

    It looks More Than 15 or 17 Times Neater Than Mine , Good Job BTW

  • Those are the flashing led's, that also serve as the trigger for the solar engine. this design takes advantage of the fact that flashing led's themselves, are photo sensitive. but, they don't seem to work as well as photodiodes. this bot would be much more phototropic if the "eyes" were farther apart, but I thought it looked cute the way it is.

    And I'm Doing One Right Now , I will use Photo diodes In Series To The LED's , So the sensitivity will go higher , I hope My Design Will 'POP" correctly

  • how did you make it fast like that? My friend made one, but it takes about a minute to move a few centimeters :(
