"Bajrsgord" you are correct. Today, we all need to vote for the most conservative candiate in 2010. This is our future. Today certain Republicans are really Democrats hiding behind a Republican skirt. Example: Olympia Snow...They most go. Know who they are and don't vote for them. A vote for them is a Democratic vote. Oh OBAMA is going to be like the Carter of the 70's. He will spend spend & hurt our childrens future. It will take a new conservative leader to take us where Reagon once did.
We need him as badly today as we did then. Obama scarces the hell out of me. Government run wild, spending like crazy. Will this country still be here like it was then for my grandchildren.....scared.
Do you know anything about history? Reagan increased the national debt more than any other president during peacetime. The public debt quadrupled in nominal dollars and nearly doubled as % of GDP under Reagan.
The spending was a result of the Democratic Party's inability to control internal spending. If the cost was for the defense run up all the better. It brought down the evil empire and re-established America's place in the world after the most inept president of all time - Jimmy Carter. What a worthless use of carbon he was. Oh by the way keep tabs on the Obama spending spree.... That man gives me the creeps. Previous jobs, voting present in the Senate and a community organizer, AKA - ACORN.
Under the Nixon administration there was a decrease in nuclear arms spending which lasted through all of the 70's. Reagan screwed it all up when he ran on a platform of increased defense spending and backed out of SALT II in 86. Nixon was Kissinger were great at foreign policy. Reagan was just crazy.
