  • Hi Fawn and Laura,

I am a heterosexual woman who beleives that all unionships should be recognized in the name of the law. Fawn, I have to give you kudos, because it's unimaginable that one would serve a country that dosn't safegaurd the very legal rights you work to protect. I don't know how you did it for 22 years but kudos. My heart and prayers go out to your family.

  • My family struggles with the same issues!

We all have to follow suit in re:laws, taxes, insurance etc... yet we dont get any of the benefits of that.

It saddens me our society is STILL viewing our lives so different than theirs.

My parents say their sad we dont have the same rights, yet they continue to vote for people that keep us from having those rights.

  • Hi Laura and Fawn,

This touched my heart. I want to thank you for doing this vid. and letting people know that we are the same. Even though I am single I hope to someday have the right to wed Ms Special when and if I am lucky enough to find her; as do all my sisters and brothers who are gay and lesbian. Thanks again for letting people know that that right is as important to us as it is to those who take it for granted.
