In this video, I show how i cook cassava leaves sauce.
This is a Guinean way of cooking cassava leaves with beef , fish, peanut butter and palm oil.
For the ingredients details you will find it to my website.
I hope you will enjoy this famous African sauce which is serve with rice.

200g blended cassava leaves

200g beef (or any meat), cut into cubes

3 TBS peanut butter

100 ml palm oil ( or peanut oil)

1 fish

1 onion, blended

3 okra, finely cut

chili, adjust to your taste

salt to taste

2 Chicken seasoning or Maggi Jumbo

smoked fish powder ( optional)

  • What could i use instead of cassava leaves?

  • @saifon2007 You can use lettuce leaves, chop the lettuce and boil them for 10 min. Then remove the chopped leaves from the boiling water and use in this recipe.

    It won't taste as 100% cassava leaves sauce but it's taste good.

  • you can also add a tin of spinach puree which you can get a most shops.i have made this loads of time its really nice.

  • @benoumarmaria i think the inside is kind of heavy aluminium, if the shipping fee was not high i would have bought one for you here ( it's so cheap here and good).
