Just got vintage-spec 12 position Wilson. Pricey but what a sweet sound! Thanks Brett! That is third effect I bought based on your reviews - first two were Wamplers - Ego compressor and Pinnacle OD - extremely happy with both. Naxt I am thinking about Wilson's Haze Vibe...

@3dsman Hey, my fine Texan friend! No, this is the stock version according to Kevin. I'd be keen to hear the vintage spec version too, but for now this one will do fine. Thanks for the flattering 'Kimberly' comments. I wish we still played that tune live so I could get the funk out. :)

but it costs a goldmine.. i'll still go for the bob bradshaw wah..

@wilsoneffects Ahh! There's some enlightenment. Thanks, Kevin. Now, of course, we must hear the Vintage Spec model as well. :P
I jest. This one's killer. :)
Brett, thanks for the vids... I tried a CAE wah last week and was very impressed, how does the wilson 12 position compare: sweep range and action? Any chance of a comparison video? Nick

@nvbeer Hi Nick, I'll run a comparison in a couple of weeks. I've just received a new one from Wilson - a Rippah Vintage Spec 12 Position Wah - and it's fantastic. It works beautifully with fuzzes too; more so than the CAE which has a buffer that can muck things up. The Rippah is true bybass and that makes a big difference, but I'll show you in a forthcoming video.

@Burgerman666 Thanks in advance for comparison demo. I live in melbourne, do you post where you upcoming gigs are?

@nvbeer No sweat. I'm playing Fed Square this Friday night with James Reyne, for the football festivities. That should be fun. All other gigs are usually announced on James' website. Cheers.
