Written by the late great Doug Hopkins...the best lyricist in the band...fired by the band for excessive drinking...Doug sold his rights to the songs and sadly took his own life...

The record company killed the band, firing Hopkins for being a drunk, he had a few more songs with a different band before he killed himself. The last song was "Long, last, lonely mile"; he knew it was over... Great song though.

This is an icredible album. [When I say album i'm just referring to collection of songs not an actual vinyl abum.I had this on CD.] There is nothing out today that even comes close to this. The 90s had some great bands that made incredible albums. Wow how the times have changed

"It's lacking something big this time, what the hell did you expect to find?
Aphrodite? On a bar stool by your side?"
The melancholy that comes that accompanies self-awareness of your predicament.

I miss these guys. This song takes me back... This was one of the first rock albums I ever bought and will probably always be one of my all time favorites.

@freedomman121 can you elaborate?

@freedomman121 "You can trust me not to drink"

@midasdm He was fired from the band due to "creative differences" with the record company. The excessive drinking bit was cooked up by the record company as an excuse.

seethroughnoise it truely its one of the few albums i like where i can start on track one and listen to it straight through all the way through. No fillars, i wish there were more albums like that.
