DYWNOTT Chapter 13

Dr.Smith walked up to Kevin and Rebecca.He took his doctor's mask down to reveal a familiar face.The same face that killed Rebecca's sister when she was little and killed her baby now.Rebecca wasn't going to take it anymore.He killed two people too many.Some strange surge of rage came over Rebecca suddenly.She got out of her bed and took out her pocketknife (a/n:isnt it weird how stephanie AND rebecca carry pocketknives? i thought it was odd and im the author. anyway back to the story) In a split second she slit the throat of Ralph Smith.Finally he is gone once and for all.

"Rebecca what did you do?!" Kevin exclaimed.

"II don't know.Some strange surge of fury took over my brain....Oh my gosh....I'm going to go to jail!" Rebecca said.

"Calm down.You won't go to jail.What you did was self defense," Kevin said comfortingly.

"I know but I feel bad about this," Rebecca said.

"You feel bad? He is the one who killed two innocent victims," Kevin said.

"You're right," said Rebecca.

"I know.Now lets get out of here," Kevin said smiling.

"We can't just leave," Rebecca said.

"Why?This is America, its a free country," Kevin said.

"Right on!Lets blow this popsicle stand (yeah i know its corny but i think its SO funny and ive always wanted to say that) ," said Rebecca.

The two of them left hand in hand.They were ready to put their troubles behind them and start fresh.Little did they know about a big bump in their road to recovery.I only wish that I could tell you that good things are about to happen for these two.




Nick's POV

This is going to be THE best date ever.I'm so happy.I kind of feel like writing a song.I haven't written a song since I wrote the song Kevin sang at his wedding.I don't know why but every time I think of Aly I get all tingly inside and I get this magical feeling.Its more than I have ever had with Stephanie. Well Ive got time to kill before my date so Ill just watch some TV and relax.
*turns on TV to the news*
OH MY GOSH! Nick exclaimed. This cant be happening! It just cant!
I ran out of the living room and opened the front door to find Aly standing there.

Aly what are you doing here? Nick asked.

Dont you remember? We have a date, Aly said.

Nick looked at his watch. Whoa I had no idea it was time for that, Nick said.

Do you have something on your mind? You look worried, Aly said looking concerned.

Nothing except how beautiful you look, Nick lied.

Youre so sweet. Lets go, Aly said as she grabbed Nicks hand. He took one look at the television that just informed him of the devastating news before he left with Aly.
