Hello, subscribers. It's been a while, hasn't it? Sorry!! I really lack the motivation necessary to own a channel... But enough about that. I've decided that I'll try to translate more again (especially now that I'm finally taking another Japanese class), so you can keep sending in suggestions to me, and I do have them on record, but unless I really like the song, sadly the chances of me actually translating in less time than a year or two it are pretty low...

So, this song is called Horizont (ホリゾント), which doesn't make sense, but that's the way it is. I really like this song, and it makes me feel like I should listen to more Mucc than the one single that I have. My translation isn't exactly accurate, as a lot of things didn't translate perfectly, but I tried to at least give the song a similar feeling.

Romaji:
Yuuhi ni somerareta horizonto

Kokoro dokoka ni oki wasureta
Bokura no hibi wo yasashiku tsutsumu

Sora mo mirezu ni aruiteku bokutachi

Kimi no kata ni ochita yuki ga jikan wo tometa

Azayaka ni mieru ima dake wa
Tomatta machi wa jiorama no you ni
"Ima doko de nani wo shiteru no desu ka"
Itsuka no jibun kara mirai ate no tegami

Hatsuyuki ga kono sewashii sekai kakushi
Ano hi to onaji you ni Takanaru mune
Daijoubu Egaiteta mirai ja nai kedo
Kagami ni utsutta Jibun hototte ageru yo

Hou wo sasu kitakaze ni eri wo tatete
Taisetsu na nukumori wo dakishimeteru
Asu wa hon no sukoshi dake sora wo miage
Sorezore no iro wo nurou Hon no sukoshi dake Kimi to

Translation:
The horizont dyed by the setting sun
Transforms the smoky town into a painting
My heart had lost it somewhere,
Our days together were gently tucked away

In love Chasing the world
We went against the flow But even so, tomorrow came

Turning our collars up against the stinging northern winds
We walk without looking at the sky
Those days we could never grow up have passed
The snow that fell on your shoulders stopped time

Only now can I vividly see*
That frozen town like a diorama
"Where are you and what are you doing right now?"
A letter from myself addressed to the future me*

Hidden from this busy world by the first snow
Just like it did on that day My chest throbs
I'm alright It's not the future that I described, but
I can be proud of My reflection in the mirror

Turning our collars up against the stinging northern winds
We hold onto this precious warmth
Tomorrow if we just look up at the sky for a little bit
Every color will be painted Just for a little bit With you

Notes
*While "azayaka" is usually written "鮮やか", in the lyrics it's written as "彩やか". The word means "vivid", but while 鮮 means clear, 彩 means colorful.
*I left out a word from this sentence, because it was somewhat implied and would have just sounded sloppy in English. Literally, I think the line would be something like: "A letter from the me of sometime addressed to my future self". It just doesn't really make as much sense in English.
