In this video, I give an overview of the workflow for creating a presentation with Premiere Pro that includes videos for two screens and surround sound. Also included: basic text animation in After Effects and music creation with Reason.

  • can I install vst synthesizers on reason ?

  • @PanCakeMixer101 I don't think so... I use ReWire and add additional instruments in Pro Tools.

  • Can you keyframe the position, sub-buffer and master for each sound? PLEASE ANSWER

  • @NoSoyCaca Excellent question. Not that I've found yet. Maybe someone else out there can comment...

  • I love this. You've taken what you have and figured out what you needed to do. No limits. And let me just tell you...I've been on youtube for six years and this is only the third or fourth time that I've written something like that. Nice...and thanks.

  • Dolby enconding its one of the most important key to success. You will need to encode to Dolby if you want your movie in 80% of the cinemas. Just because it provide you super redundant audio in Good quality with 2 levels of backup and let you be in any format, from 35mm to the latest mainstream format. Think about that.

Anyway, nice video. Less video explanations and more audio tutorial would make it perfect :)

  • I was having problems figuring out how to export surround sound. Who knew you had to set up the master with the 5.1 setting in the Sequence setup. Thanks for the vid.

  • Excuse my ignorance, but if you were to mix a project in 5.1 surround sound, what happens if you only have a stereo set-up or just use headphones with your computer? Does it just take the mix and sort of psychacoustically approximate the position of the channels through whatever your computers sound set-up may be?

  • @bdubrecords Ok thanks, I needed the answer from a pro. I guess I'll just cut the sound into two pices and divided

  • I can't find the area where you pan the 5.1 sound. I have the audio mixer, but I can't see the 5.1 pan option.
