I used to watch it back when it was on BBC, during the great House of Trouser period. Cant stand it on Channel 5, especially with the adverts.

If it was not for the BBC we would not still have neighbors. In the early 90's Network Ten nearly axed it because the ratings were so bad Kangaroo side, but thanks t UK viewers they kept making it because we all made it financially viable. So there thats what the BBC did for it, not to mention showing twice a day(the first time that has ever been done in television history for a Soap)! And Have you forgotten the countless times the BBC went to Australia and made programs about it?
