this is a misleading video, everything is INCORRECT. Dyslexia does exsist, dont let the hateful person who created this tell you otherwise!!!

Yeh i'm dyslexic but i can read & spell fine (the odd spelling mistake and word i can't read) i have however the symptoms of thought processing and organization and i think others as well, it's mainly when it comes to remembering things and, although i can concentrate when in a lesson, the info given verbally doesn't stay in and it does frustrate me but if you were to SHOW me what it is your trying to explain, i'll have a better understanding, as all dyslexics think things visually.

This is a joke, right?
Clearly mental health awareness still has a long way to go, especially in overcoming pure ignorance and marketing propaganda!

dyslexics actually normally have a much higher iq than normal people

@TheMindsTricks Yea Yea I understand I'm dyslexic too but I just had a really good touter to help me, and I use spell check too. (don't you hate it when it docent recognize what you wrote) But the thing is dyslexia isn't just a problem with reading. It's way more than that. Its the way your brain thinks. And what this video is saying that we are the way normal humans are suppose to think and everyone els caved into the shitty school system. Thats why we struggle in class.

@acey45 You are wrong, I am severely dyslexic. If only you knew how long it takes me to write a comment, how many times I have to use a spell checker just so you can understand what I am writeing and then a text to speak program to make sure it makes sense. If you dont understand, Let me show you. If I was to right lets say "halo" when it should be "Hello" if I was to read the word, I would still say "Hello" when its "Halo". Just a small example. A text to speak program helps with this.

@bartosinc Im Dyslexic as well and I can see what he is saying here. He is basically saying that we are normal and everyone els has fallin to the education system and adapted to there cheeper ways of doing things. And that we are the ones who are learning the way people are suppose to.
-
@TheEnterFrame I personally an dyslexic and I can see what he is saying here. Because I know what its like. You don't so how can you know?
-
Im guessing your not Dyslexic....

@BruceDeitrickPrice I Watched the video. In the video she never said she could help people with Dyslexia or that it was not real, yet it was to help more people with ADD/ADHD. By useing diffrent methods of learning that may or may not be more effective dose not give you the right to just say "Dyslexia is not real". Once again we come back to your problem you dont have proof to backup your claims on Dyslexia. Someone talking on youtube is not proof so dont send me to them.
-
you need to fix the visual system and the inner ear then concentrate on phonics then you will succeed
I see that you are trying to make a point that people could have just not been teached well, BUT you dont have much proof backing up your claims just some quotes from some books, on the other hand people with Dyslexia have biological proof that Dyslexia is neurological basis. If you dont believe me you can google "Biological Causes of Dyslexia" to find tests done on dyslexic people and non-dyslexic people the test showed Dyslexia is 'very real'.

@TheMindsTricks But which came first? The differences or the faulty instruction? (If somebody is an alcoholic for several years, their brain will change. Do we then say that any odd behavior is the result of a weird brain the person was born with?)

@TheMindsTricks (Second comment: Watch even 4 minutes of this video and you will understand that bad reading instruction is our main problem: youtube .com/watch?v=A4WOdglxVWs )

Dyslexia exists! My brother and my son are real people with dyslexia. They are not just illusions or any country's shameful conspiracies. They are real. Shame on you for this video. You just made yourself look world wide stupid. Congratulations on that.

@TheEnterFrame Please note the main point. Yes, genuine inborn dyslexia may sometimes occur. But it's rare, probably occurring in less than 1% of the population. However, our Education Establishment would like us to believe that it's very common, afflicting as much as 20-25% of the population. This is the big lie. Why do they tell it? Because it gives them cover for their bad methods. Whole Word is the main cause of so-called dyslexia. That's what you should be angry about.
