What they've created is not only special but something wonderfully unique in the universe of our listening experience. If anyone in the human race is capable of something this genuine and fresh, then maybe our species is worth not giving up on entirely. The first kiss creates goosebumps, then a lingering smile, and then quiet wonder.

I hear some of the album Tales From the Acoustic Planet from Bela Fleck in The Goat Rodeo Sessions. Acoustic Planet is probably my favorite albums of all time, thanks for continuing this style of music. Thumbs up to Edgar Meyer, playing on both of them! Would love to hear you guys team up with Bela and crew for another acoustic sessions album.

Chromacopy - I have a different view. Crooked Still has definitely evolved over the years. In their latest record “Friends of Fall,” they have two excellent songs including an Aoife original, "The Peace of Wild Things/Dayblind" which is very different from what they have done in the past. The second song is “Morning Bugle” which is a wonderful cover.
Also, I have seen Aoife with her own band on her CA tour last summer - Great music! Search Aoife O'Donovan "Oh Mama" for example...
