Live Concert, August 9, 2008 as part of the "Col Jack Moelmann & Friends" Musical Showcase at the Music Hall on their 4/58 Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ
@TrjnMgnms10 Leibert wrote The Radio City March for the opening of the Music Hall. He recorded it twice once on the Reprise Label on the big Wurlitzer and a second time on the Byrd Theater instrument. This recording was on the Westminster label.
Dick Leibert recorded two Christmas albums on the big Wurlitzer for RCA. They are entitled The Sound of Christmas and The Happy Hits of Christmas. He also did one disc of a four disc set of Christmas music for Reader's Digest. Leibert recorded two Christmas LPs on the Westminster label. He also had a 12 minute medley on a l958 RCA album called Christmas Holidays at Radio City Music Hall.
Dick Leibert also wrote a piece called the "Radio City Music Hall March" that I have yet to hear any organist at Radio City play. In my opinion George Wright and Don Baker were the best!
I have been trying and trying to find Dick Liebert playing Xmas music on this organ. He was for many years the organist at Radio City. Help someone is it on You Tube?
Walt Strony really did a good job playing this organ at Radio City. I have been fond of theater organ music for decades and he is great fun! I was at the Christmas Show at Radio City last December, and the two organists playing together was absolutely terrible! What a disappointment! Radio City Music Hall needs to have the greatest theater organist in the world, on the greatest Wurlitzer Theater Organ in the world, in the greatest movie palace on the planet - period!
A fantastic organist on a fantastic instrument!
Greetings from Norway

@DickLiebert Aren't you at least embarrassed that you don't know how to spell your own name?
