Love this! Thank you.

You are very talented!

i wish i could favorite this 10 times.

@fiddlinshim What kind of bridge is that?
-
@dannygutters: Either, as in this case, the banjo is built with that bridge position in mind (and the frets placed to be in tune) or you use a fretless banjo.
-
@fiddlinshim How can you move the bridge up near the middle without ruining the tuning on the higher frets?
-
I've never been a big fan of clawhammer but this is top shelf stuff right here! That's a beautiful song too. I've been trying to learn a good break 3 finger style and I think I just found some stuff here I wanna use!! ;)

I've been playing banjo with Johnny Rawls for years and I still can't understand what he's doing up and down the neck. He is a fine picker and a true gentleman to boot. We do need more clips of his stuff up.

I have watched this more times than I can remember

please submit more of this man playing the banjo....seriously...that would be fantastic
Nice tune and very nicely played. Congratulations. But what the hell is that white thing on the end of your banjo, sir?

looks like a tuner to me.... ever seen one? they clip on to the instrument, and when you pluck the string, it tells you what pitch and you can tune it to whatever key you would like.... usually concert A, 440 hz
