intro to assembly programming in olly

in the next few videos (a while) we are going to be exploring the assembly language :) today i explain push and pop and the basic layout of olly :) here is a link for a crackme that will work for this video :)

I am looking a lot of your vids. and i think that they a great,but i have a problem.When i run a program e.g. Crackme it says Access violation (Press shift+ F7,F8 or F9) and i dont now what that means pls make a video about that?

Had a problem with the placement of your Assembly box, ...couldn't see it. As well I am using version 1.10 and the code lines and appearance are different. When I tryed the Mov EAX (address) i recieved error " extra input after operand" ...Please help!

@Relevant604 yea i didnt realize it was outside the recordign area. but dont type offset... its just mov eax,00403000

Hey thank you for your fast response. Quick questions.....Do i seperate with coma? that maybe why I got error, as I didnt put coma after eax. Also Do I have to use Capitols EAX or does it not matter?

The last question is how to see what is happening when following dump ? Say for viewing all changes step by step of the mov push sequences etc. Thank you.

@Relevant604 yes to comma no to case :) as for the dumb it is raw hex data... you just watch for things to change when they are expected to or you use it to find certain stuff:)

when i open the crackme, it looks diffrent from urs. same for the hex.
