@ishouldplayzelda The length of each tube represents the pitch, and it's the wind blowing across the tube opening that "plays" it, a bit like a flute. You must have seen pan pipes? It is a big one of them.

to certain people: i thought art was supposed to be pleasant, pleasurable and boring. Don't you want it to sing you a song that makes you feel nice? maybe put fifty cents in and it plays John Philip Sousa? yeah. throw money at it and then you get to complain. what have you made? more children? i'll bet their bad taste is really pleasant. mickey mouse and john philip sousa.

how did they tune the pipes and get them to sing? i have the supplies to build a small one but i don't know how they sing :/
