When I say we - I mean the people and their governments. Criminals control drugs and it should be us.
I would like to say that I agree with you - but it is here that I must no, as I do not think it is realistic. There will always be somebody that will sy yes to drug usage. Prohibition has had decades to get this right. And it has led us to a war on drugs (with the US spending $1Trillion since the 1970s) and my country £14bn a year. We need a change.

@rory997 who are "we"?
if you reject drugs and tell your friends about this,
it may help more to fight drug production than any legalisation of any drugs
it's about the strong will, do your part: show a good example
-
drugs being illegal make them glamorous. It creates gangsters who can the afford expensive cars and clothes.
End prohibition - and WE can then control the drugs, rather than the criminals. End drug prohibition, and then WE get to take the glamour out of them.
Switzerland for example gives heroin to registered addicts for free - they have seen a reduction in crime and of people using as they get more users in to treatment.
we need to end prohibition
-
@rory997 isn't it our task not to support the drug use glamourising in toto, at the parties, clubs etc.
should not sensible ppl just reject this dark side of life style,
so it's not only about "control", it's about "ideology"
-
@flaminia5 oh I couldnt agree more with you.
Drug dealers dont ask for i.d.
Therefore legalising drugs means WE get to control them, cos at the moment, its the drug dealers that have all the control.
-
@rory997 surry to disagree: i believe in "don't seduce", esp. the younger ones

hope you had a good holiday season too.
I would agree with you, but people will take personal choices about their lives and what they put into their own bodies. which is why i for one would like to see an end to prohibition. then people can make their choice in as safe a way as possible
26000? Who Cares?
400,000 tobacco deaths a year
200,000 alcohol deaths a year
follow the dutch organic model. if it grows and doesn't need to be "chemically modified", legalize it.
