KidZone-Kearney Area Children's Museum was founded in 1989, with the goal of providing children interactive ways to blend learning and fun. Today, the goal is the same, but our services are constantly expanding. KidZone is now located in the NEW Alia Arram Memorial Building just west of Slumberland in Kearney featuring 22 exhibit zones and offers several educational programming activities.
The museum is also involved in many community events, including the annual Kidz Explore which is hosted by the Kearney Hub in partnership with KidZone.
Through each of these service elements, KidZone-Kearney Area Children's Museum strives to make learning interactive and fun for all the children and families it reaches.
