    any one else have it?

  • i have to say i tend to prefer this version too. you can feel the white album atmosphere in this demo. the vibe reminds me a bit of long, long, long.

poor george, so many of his songs got rejected by lennon/mc cartney ...

  • I kind of dig this song, but I can see why it was rejected.

  • @ LuisGerardo82 ,

gone troppo is from 1982, not 1975. this demo was recorded for the white album (beatles).

  • I have this CD!

All of the music was recorded at George Harrisons residence in Esher, Kinfauns.

    Its one of my favorites_Chris

  • amazing George Harrisounds!

  • George often used to write his songs at the harmonium...this is one of them. In 1982 he recorded the version in his LP "Gone Troppo". Metaphisic song!

  • hermosa y tetrika kancion GEORGE eras y seras uno de los mejores

  • Your recording warped it down a few keys.

Gotta say, I prefer this version. I don't really go for all the cheesy synth fills on Gone Troppo. With the droning keyboard (something he was into at the time), it really gives off a feeling that you're drifting.

I'm a fan of the Esher Demos (aka The Kinfauns Recordings)in general. After all, that's where we got Paul's duet w/ George on Junk. Not to say the McCartney 1 version isn't good, but it isn't the Kinfauns recording.

  • is a demo of "circles" song from gone tropo album for George Harrison 1975.

  • meeeee - esher/kinfauns sessions - late 1967

    aka the "off-white album"

notice how 'child of nature' became 'jealous guy' eh! brilliant!
