  • What type of organ is this?

  • @MrOrganist21 - Casavant Opus 3872 built in 2008. Pipe organ, slider chests, electric action.

  • Great music. But whats with all the carpet all over the church. The organ sounds like its suffocating. The most important stop on the organ is the room it self.

  • @AeolianSkinner1983 The floor is an aggregate floor (mix of pebbles/ rocks). All carpet had been removed 10 years ago. The walls have extra layers of drywall, as recommended by Casavant. The building is half round and we can get almost 600 people in the space. On Sundays we have extra seats in the front because there are more people than seats. With no people the sound is much better, but without people there is no singing... :-)

  • No rebuilding - we sold the old one completely...:-) The new one is 100% new Casavant. In total 21 stops.

Looking forward to your contributions! Although I am a musician, I would rather have inferior music and good preaching than magnificent music and false preaching.

  • This is a very talented organist! I wander what he could do with 5 manuel!

  • @churchsongsla he really orchestrated the last verse, this guy has to be 1 of the best!!!

  • his intro is absolutely amazing!!!

  • This song is like the hymn of St. James pattern of my country Spain, but with different lyrics. But this song is much older than this song. Put on youtube friends anthem of Santiago de Compostela and see.
