Remy the Rat.avi

This cake was an order for a lady who is leaving her current job in the Risk Assesment Team (R.A.T). Her co-worker thought that having a cute rat cake would be a real laugh. So this is all chocolate mud cake with chocolate ganache.
My house mate was so glad that I had another cake order - he gets the leftovers and scraps of cake and he'd been feeling deprived of late ha ha!

wow it looks perfect!!! does it have frosting inside the rat?

i hope you can make a tutorial video on how to carve this.

when you carve your cake, do you put it in the freezer first then carve it?

Nivia! Your work is amazing! You should try it, even if you get time to do a practice cake, just use a small cake and try something simple (like the rat! - or mouse). I KNOW you can do it honey :)

@dantwaz Yes it does :) so you curved the mouse out of a round cake, wow that is a very good job. I haven't really got the guts to curve a cake into a shape, I think it is beyond me.
