Castlevania Circle of the Moon Low Lvl Magician Hugh Battle

After getting part way through CotM without using anything but invincibility, I decided to skip the Zombie Dragons and Death, going straight to Carmilla then Hugh so I could record a low level Hugh battle.

I mainly wanted to post this for all the people who said the game is too hard. But also Hugh, even with CotM being retconned, is one of my favorite characters in the series.

Hehehe ive been trying this EXACT BATTLE at the same level. Its hard..

You can always use the Uranus+Thunderbird combo.

If you're playing Magician mode you have both cards already. If you're playing a different mode you don't have them. You can get Uranus from the Scary Candle in the boss chamber you fought the Golem. Thunderbird is from the Werewolf type enemy you fight near Adrammelech.

Activate the DSS combo and press down, left, up, attack(like on a fighting game) to use the summon. Most powerful DSS combo.

Hehehe good advice but i took the cheap way out (using the skelly's big bone and invincibility) I had already beat all the modes in the game on the actual cartridge but then i checked it one day and they were all gone.. so thats why i was fighting hugh at low level lol.. my only problem now is killing dracula's final mode (the flying eye with bats) at level 33 magician mode. any advice?

Shouldn't need any advice against the eye surrounded by bats.  They only fly randomly around, so as long as you just keep dodging his dash whenever he turns into his other form and then use summons against the last form you're set.

dude i think that after a while games delete themselves because alot of people have been saying that they lose their games or they leave them somewhere for a long time or they just dont play for a while and then all thier games are deleted. that happened to me too, i left my game boy in my closet for like a year and then i play it cause i was bored and the power was out but all the games had been deleted and i dont think that any of my brothers erased them, and i had been the lasr one to play it

Awesome display of skill. :) With skills such as yours, CotM is in no way hard.. Now, for people with very low skill levels (such as myself of two months ago) CotM is very hard. :)
