so in order to control these trough normal extern DMX mode, how many DMX channels does one of these take?

16 x 5 = 80 (DIMMER, STROBE/ON/OFF, RED, GREEN, BLUE) ?!

Thinking of installing around 30m of tube in total and wondering how many universes will it take up?

@diskokatten the tubes are using 4 dmx channels each - take a look at the assignment at: media.steinigke.de/documents/0­0036748.pdf

if u want to use them as a total - single-controlled pattern...for complex shows...maybe u need the "EUROLITE LED DMX Pixel TUBE 16 RGB" - they use 48 channels each..so u can create large patterns...for this many tubes..i would say (approximated) 4 universes (recommendation MADRIX) kind regards...

ich habe einen partykeller,der ist 25 qm gross.ich wollte da jetzt für die nächste party ein bisschen mit licht rumspielen.ich hatte ins auge gefasst das produkt aus diesem video und noch ebenfalls von ihnen led pars flat.nur jetzt bin ich mir nicht sicher ob ich 2pars und 2tubes,2pars oder nur 2tubes nehmen soll da ich mir nicht sicher bin wie das ihn dem raum mit der leuchtkraft wirkt und ob es nicht praktisch das gleiche wär wenn ich beide produkte hätte?! was würden sie mir raten?

@crazy2Mudda also 25qm ist ja nicht allzugroß-natürlich ist das ganze auch abhängig, ob der raum richtig mit effektlicht oder eher so ein bisschen "ambient" beleutet werden soll. ansich sind beide produkte ziemlich hell. allein von der abwechslung (abstrahlwinkel, wirkung, montagemöglichkeit) würde ich eher zu ner mischung raten. das ganze wirkt mit ein bisschen nebel noch besser...und würde noch zu nem kleinen flower-effekt raten um etwas bewegung reinzubekommen. glaube das sähe super aus !!
