Protesters Greet Senator Mitch McConnell Party Goers!!!!!!

A Senator Mitch McConnell event is once again greeted with protesters. Party goers at the Olmsted BOO-LA-LA Fete D'Halloween gala were greeted with anti Senator Mitch McConnell protesters. The Protesters were there for over 3 hours. Senator Mitch McConnell was slipped into the event without being seen by the public.
This is not the first time this has occurred. Senator Mitch McConnell was slipped in at Buckner, Kentucky and Berea, Kentucky, I know because I was there.
It appears Sen. Mitch McConnell would rather smear a 12 year old child than being seen in public, by his Kentucky constituents.
Shame on you Sen. Mitch McConnell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have done my best to capture the flavor of the 3.5 hour event and condense the video down to 5 minutes.

It seems the Olmsted Parks Conservancy is totally out of touch with the folks in Louisville, the League Of Conservation Voters. and Senator Mitch McConnell's record on conservation.

A year after this event, some friends and I were beating McConnell's 2008 campaign bus to the county Republican Party headquarters to greet him with a "BAILOUTS ARE NOT CONSERVATIVE" banner and Republicans To Ditch Mitch fliers that explained that McConnell twisted arms as the Republican Senate Leader to pass the TARP-1 bailout, after Wall Street banks financed his campaign.

I fully agree that McConnell must go, but the protesters got some stuff completely wrong. McConnell is NOT a conservative. Their righteous anger about the war should be directed at the NEOCONSERVATIVES, aka neocons, and Mitch is their leader. He has much more in common with the corrupt elements of the Democratic Party and much less to do with conservatives. No conservative favors US foreign policy with all the death, destruction, blow back, no bid defense contracts and massive deficits.

whether or not you like his politics, the senator did secure 38 million dollars for the floyd's fork restoration project; this will have long lasting benefits for our city - i'm as DEM as they come, but i can't refute that fact....parks are NOT about politics...they're about coming together based on our shared humanity, not our political, socioeconomic, or ideological differences...
