Just over five months removed from the July triple homicide in which Jennifer, Hayley and Michaela Petit were killed, the town of Cheshire remembered the Petit women in a special way. Residents lit over 180,000 luminaries throughout town trailing through nearly 400 streets. The purchase of the luminaries raised money for the Connecticut Multiple Sclerosis Society, a cause for which the Petit women were dedicated.
