In this Footy Show, Sam Newman says he has a theory about Mark Thompson, that he is "posturing to have his commission withdrawn." He goes on to say, "I reckon if he can oversee a loss against Richmond, the club'll accommodate him. And they'll sack him." Of course, that was the game where Geelong thrashed Richmond by nearly 200 points and really was the start of Geelong's three years of dominance!
