Environmental Defense Fund is building innovative partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities to develop campus sustainability projects. This video highlights EDF programs that focus on energy efficiency, curriculum development, and student engagement. The purpose of these partnerships is to make minority serving institutions centers of innovation that prepare the professional leaders of tomorrow, while confronting environmental challenges of today.

  • This is a great initiative!! The university I attended and currently employed at are taking great strides to Environmental sustainability. It's not a HBCU, but it recently constructed a 15 acre solar panel field powering about 18% of the power at the university.
