@raphaeldelaprojects ITS A VERY COMMON MISTAKE TO PUT IN THE CABLE UPSIDE DOWN OR BACKWARDS. RE-CHECK THE CABLE AND MAKE SURE IT IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY.

PLEASE HELP mine was working fine slowly started fuzzing up as time went on and now its just showing a bunch of lines in the viewfinder but the camera still films fine and footage comes out sweet on the capture cam. is this a ribbon cable problem?

@DoItLikeKeat Thats usually not how the viewfinder goes out, so im not too sure.. But as long as the footage you are capturing looks fine, I would imagine it is something wrong with the viewfinder cable. Try plugging in your VX to a TV using the yellow video plug (if you have one lying around) ... The image on your TV should be clean. If not, then your problem needs to be handled by professionals.

Hahaha That's what I realized after biding on it.. I hope it is the ribbon cable.

Anyway I orderd a new ribbon cable and I'll let you know it it was.

PLEASE help... my viewfinder dosent light up when i turn it on.. but when i press very hard down on it it does.. do you think its time for a new ribon cable or do i just need to check if it is loose?

Thanks !!!! I had to do it twice , the ribbon cable was the other way around , When you plug in the ribbon cable you have to see the black lines , not the golden ones .
