Sponsor: http://PledgeBank.com/Next1000 - My controversial vid about Ron Paul's controversial statement...gets response from campaign. Sort of. Also the video triggered so many responses and concerns that I felt I should post a video response answering your questions.

The Feb. 11 vid by Dr. Paul which I analyzed is at:

  • there is a lot of money in the 'pipeline' for this war, I would however like to see how this 'spend all the money at home' would be implemented. I am 20 years old and my state receives money for state highways etc in exchange for me not being able to drink until i'm 21... well, my point is, perhaps that allotted amount could be adjusted for inflation.. just 1 example I could think of...

  • "I am 20 years old and my state receives money for state highways etc in exchange for me not being able to drink until i'm 21... "

Great point. Much of that "spending at home" is dedicated to killing our liberties.

  • Hey Dave,

Great job. I will say that the number of commercial flashes is getting distracting. One at the beginning and one at the end was fair, but if you keep interrupting your monologue with them, Ill likely quit watching.

    Just my 2c.

  • OK thanks for the heads-up. What do others of you think of the ads in the middle? I normally only do that if the video is over 7 minutes, or the client requests it. So middle-ads appear in roughly one in five vids and last under five seconds.

  • Ron Paul is right when he says that Washington has a spending addiction, but when he says spend the money at home he means he wants to pay down the debt and the soc. sec. & medi care shit hole we have gotten ourselves into. Ideally govt. spending for him would go down a lot but you cant cut the spending w/o cutting out the people who depend on govt. so the only logical place to cut spending is foreign policy.

  • They don't bug me. I've always figured that the problem could be in long ads at the beginning because they might cause people to stop watching. But a 3 second interruption in the middle doesn't bother me.

  • You're boring

  • well you redeemed yourself when you said he is the best thing thats happened to politics in 30 years and he is!!!!

  • ron paul is right it would be bueetr spent on infastrucure

  • Ron Paul was talking about government spending on the war, but his intention is not to spend all that money. He did put his foot in his mouth a little bit, he was speaking in generalities about government spending and where are money should be spent not about the particular moneys were spending in irag/afgan. You, as well as i and everyone on this string is susceptible to over analyzing because we are scorned american voters. I dont think you should worry, but good job in picking it up!

  • He could even be saying keep your tax dollars hints "we could be spending the money at home"

  • Sounds like what Ron Paul said is it would be better to spend the money at home instead of the war. He was saying that its wasted in Iraq. it would be a better way to spend the Iraq money. Although he probably wouldn't. Ron Paul has a clean voting record and you would understand more if you looked at it... They don't call him Dr No for no reason.

  • Maybe Ron Paul just meant what he said? Infrastucture like bridges, dams, levies, highways ect... are falling apart here at home. We are pissing away tax money that could be better spent enriching our lives here rather than using it to kill humans thousands of miles away? I can't say for certain that is what he meant but that is my best guess as an avid supporter who has spent many hours listening to him.

  • its not that hard to understand.. he was talking about overall govt spending .. and miletary spending is a major part of it.. and as you know usa spends tons of money outside usa .. when usa has almost 7 trillion dept to worry about.. the reason usa in iraq is because of oil.. or other business.. which mostly helping rich ppl to get contract.. but going to war is very expensive way to acheive those goal.. thats why we should be looking at other alternative..

  • It's good to see that you have an opinion. Opinions are like ass holes, everyone has one. Get a life, Ron Paul is awesome and is the ONLY candidate that tells the truth, that has an actual plan and wants to follow the Constitution which states the rules that are to be followed which made this nation so great. Do you know what the CFR is? Are you a neo-con? Buy some furniture and maybe a picture...homo.
