if you were all real gamers you'd all be just as happy for natal, the magic wand and even ok then the wii!!! it spells development in our video game world for everyone. the big companys all copy eachother which is good for us!!! 10 years time imagine how much fun we are going to be having with some amazing games. let the big boys fight and copy eachother and we the gamers will have up to date cutting edge consoles with lush games

sony did not fail. and the tech and has been around for a long time. go to my page and watch my playlist. developer did not support the PS eye and really the games sucked bad which is why the wand thing is need because it has buttons. you dont even need the wand but for 1 to 1 you need the wand. just watch my video nothing natal is doing is new or even better but the leg tracking. everthing else the eye has done already. just watch my playlist is short

@EweToobUsername during video chat kinect serves another purpose. you actually have a physical controller. if it works or not depends on the user.

@xxIBOREDIxx The problem with Kinect (Natal) is the whole "body is the controller" thing has failed before and it's going to fail again. Kinect will be good for handball, video chat, and gesture control of media playback, but will otherwise suck for the core 360 users (Halo and other FPS games). It may augment some controls (independent view movement by using your head), but that's it.

PS3 Move is also a joke in this regard - the lights will ruin using it as a gun-type controller.

Whilst MS bought 3DV last year, Natal's hardware is from the company PrimeSense (look it up in Google), which works slightly differently to 3DV's cam. Richard tried out 3DV's Z-cam with the PS2 6 years ago to see how a 3D cam compares to the 2D EyeToy, he was not working on 3DV's tech, just trying it. And most tech builds upon the past and improves it, hence Natal improves on 3DV's Z-cam, PSMove improves on the Wiimote, Sixaxis improves on MS's Sidewinder Freestyle Pro (released in 1998!) etc.
