damn my installer didnt work, any help?
-
Is this overclocked?
-
@Futzyy the end of the first one. i cant remember if they used a particle effect maybe? that could have caused the extreme slowdown
-
end of the gman sequence? you mean at the end of the game or...? kinda confused me there.
Yeah I've got a $2100 gaming laptop, but I want something with more battery life that I can just tote around and use wherever. Plus the hinges for my monitor are kind of damaged so it's essentially stationary now anyway.
-
@Futzyy yeah... i got mine a while ago and i couldnt run the end of the gman sequence. I had to use the console to load the second map, which lagged on all low. im guessing gmod would hardly hardly load w/o spawning anything, and with no add ons. :-\ oh well. you dont buy a netbook for gaming anyway, especially when you have a $1300 main rig.

HL2 MIGHT work, Gmod is out of the question, especially if you slap addons on it like me >.>
-
i am guessing a eee pc seashell 1005ha would work good with hl1. anyone tried gmod and hl2 with one?
-
I LOVE THIS GAME !
-
is this the source version? or the old one?
-
My friend did install HL2 on his eee pc 901 and it was runing about 15-30 fps. cood a new n270 make any difrenc? PLZ make a video about HL2!
I've not tried it yet, but i guess it wouldn't be playable. Maybe around 10 fps, with minimum details...
Don't forget that the graphics are onboard.

Nice. Which resolution have you set in the game? I got problems with setting 1024x600 but 800x600 looks ugly and stretched. Yours looks fine.

i have chosen the 800x600 resolution.
Take the direct3d renderer not opengl or software.
you must also choose the full-screen mode on desktop.
