A recording of the Enterprise Ireland June Social Media Club, held in our East Point offices on the morning of June 17th, 2011. The theme of this free seminar was around the challenges of developing a "Corporate Voice" on the social web. For many companies this is the most difficult aspect of embracing social media: enabling the technology is trivial (anyone can create a Facebook Page), but figuring out what you want to talk about, and who in the company could and should say it, can be the downfall of many well-intentioned social media initiatives.
The June Social Media Club featured a case study of how the team at TicketSolve (along with their partners at Steak Social) have harnessed the power of their staff as social ambassadors to build a thought-leadership platform and enhance the reputation of the company.
Speakers included Paul Hanly, COO of TicketSolve; John Barton, founder of Steak Social; and David Bowles, Head of Online at Ezetop
