black culture is the true problem. black kids should not have to have it imposed on them to work hard, not steal and not be a menace to society. this should be built into their culture and come from their parents. black culture glorifies a lack of education, violence, promiscuity, etc. and that's the REAL problem that no one is talking about
@JayCeeEss1337 I don't trust anything on her resume. I suspect a lot of the great things said about her are not true.
Much of her efforts in DC involved "getting rid of people" rather than changing things for the better.
She's horrible to the teachers as well. While some might welcome a "get tough on the teachers" attitude, keep in mind that if you get rid of a teacher, you have to replace him/her.
"Rhee taught in Baltimore, Maryland as a recruit of Teach For America for three years. According to her resume, over a two-year period she moved students scoring on average at the 13th percentile on national standardized tests to 90 percent of students scoring at the 90th percentile or higher."
I bet all of those Urban Americans are mad, they had to bring in a Korean to fix the mess they have made. Maybe, just maybe the schools will see some improvement......NAH, not any real improvement.
Let me ask this; how can Michelle Rhee change anything without the cooperation of teachers and parents?
How can she gain their cooperation when she doesn't live within the same corridor?
She doesn't live in the same neighborhood as the students, doesn't shop in the same stores, and they never see her in their neighborhood unless she's working there.
She was a fuckup as a teacher, and her teacher recruiting program didn't "turn anything around."

We tried the "COLLABORATIVE" for years and it has failed time and time again. Let Michelle do her thing. We need change and we need it quickly.

All that she's accomplished???? And that would be what?

Answer to your questions: She can't.
Hopefully, she'll realize her job takes a COLLABORATIVE effort--before it's too late.
