Thank Goodness for wonderful neighbors. Our neighbor came over and let us use his tractor with a spud buster and box blade to make our swales in what will soon be our version of a permaculture or edible forest. The swales were cut on contour over a 1 acre area that currently only has 14 pecan trees on it but we hope to add many more plants over the next few years.
