Damon and Elena's is NOT forbidden love. Elena could be with Damon if she wants to. Even she said so in the last episode on Feb16 that she doesn't even know what to think about Damon and the Kiss meaning she's still processing it & trying to figure out what that was. Honestly, Damon is just acting pathetic, desperate and so pushy. He's forcing himself on Elena and desperately want her to love him...he needs to find someone else. He knows even if he has Elena, she will always love Stefan more!:)
