Even though I agree with you in some sense about XP, the rest of what you said is bullshit. Change for changes sake is likely going to be a good thing, given that if something was good in the first place there would be no need to change it. Arctic melting is definitely not caused by a bloody volcano either. And power consumption definitely IS an issue and a vital one at that. Robots probably are greener actually, if they're efficient they probably consume less food (energy) than the a human.
tell that to the people whos jobs these things steal. no change for the sake of it is not allways better. & there are 80,000 active volcanoes right now. sometimes the status quo is a good thing or else how did it get to be the status quo unless people were not happy with it. think for yourself stop letting the media think for you. ;-)
Everything evolves, the status quo is always going to change. Stop bemoaning inevitable facts of life...
I'm not letting the media think for me at all - I don't see how you concluded that from what I said either. I guess some people just like to think they're superior for no reason.
Everything I said is essentially true - Jobs lost is irrelevant, active volcanoes prove nothing, change is always going to happen, robots are a good thing... etc. Just stop talking, seriously.
one colcanoe puts out more co2 than the entire planet has since the beginning of the industrial revolution in a few days. nobody's on a superiority trip here but you....jobs lost are not irrelevant , people are more important than their creations. i.e. robots. even the rate of change is allways changing but this is no reason to screw with a good thing. sriously if you can't have a decent converstion save the world ...... go kill yourself
