@addrockride yes, but i bet you still lose one sock

The soft glow of the filter effect really helps to humanize the dancing process.

How do you work out that one human is faster running from shelf to shelf forfilling just one order versus the Kiva system which brings all the stock to you allowing you to forfill multiple orders at the manned station?
If it's anything that puts buisnesses out of action its the vast number of workers waiting to sue anyone for any thing. At least machines don't picket or sue your ass at every opportunity.

They took our jobs!!!

osem, cool

Skynet is online. watch out people they are dance & ship us to death.
-
@addrockride no but they could probably vacuum the floor for you.

Seems like we should have robots, not people, working in warehouses, which will free people up for more skilled stuff. (Like maintaining the robots!)

@circusboy90210 people are the reason for the job not an uncessary expense.

@thatguywithnoname if these valuable people are not employed doing a far superior job than any robot, they cannot spend money back into the economy therefore putting those industry's out of business for lack of it.
secondly the human being can confirm the item is indeed what is called for right there @ the rack a robot does not have this capability. in the medical trade people can die because of these mistakes. plus a human can pick faster than these units as well as more accurately.

They feel no pain or remorse, they are dancing machines and they won't stop until the music is finished!
