@CutieStar1998 well when you start for the first time yes.. but you get used to it.. i use Oragel t numb my eyebrows so it wont hurt but they actually have products to numb your brows so they wont hurt when you pluck them.. well in a nut shell,, yes when you sre a beginner plucker... lol
