Why do Columbus announcers always claim that the officials "need to get in there" during a fight? Look for the Brouwer vs. Stralman fight and they do the same thing.
It's not the official's job to gauge who the combatants are and break up a fight. Thank god I only have to listen to these yokels twice a year when the Chicago feed is blacked out on Center Ice.
