NOTE: for downloads off the XDA dev website you will need an account. they are free to make.

(edit:) you will need adn usb drivers Android sdk allows this, if you follow my first instructions correctly then you will not need this, but if you have trouble [unrevoked can't find phone] make sure you install this: http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html)

@CyprusMovieDirector yeah the only problem is when you flash a custom rom (ofc you back up the old one) you loose things like messages and phone calls, but if you done the contacts right so they are on google then you keep your contacts. otherwise backup your contacts to your sd and import to your google.

@TheDIMO94 setcpu but better use no frills cpu control =free and if you fuck up the settings in the cpu it will reboot but only on no frills will it go back to main. So less risk

you only need to s-off your phone. The change this go wrong can as high that a computer suck, so you need a : laptop ( full of charge ivm desktop can shutdown if no electra ) you need a usb cable and you can just go to the site revolutionary,io .

here they explain the whole procces. And after you've done that you will be able to flash custom roms. If need more help you can also pm me.
