I first heard this on WXRT (Chicago's Finest Rock) also in the early '80's, KCDX 103.1 in the Phoenix area plays it occasionally .

  • for me, this song will forever encompass being 16 in 1984 chicago, sneaking a bus up to the north side to go slumming at places like wax trax, belmont ave, and halsted street on a drizzly day. thanks, wxrt---

  • ... they say the neon lights are bright on Broadway.... LUV IT!!!

  • one of the best top 5 rock-n-roll songs ever!

  • @scradley131 Forgot to mention.....Mood Swing, Everytime I Touch You, Phantom Heart and The Veil....Really Rocked.

I saw the Nails twice. Once at the Holiday in Toronto. CFNY simulcasted it and I tape the show. It was fantastic.

I still have the tape and listen occasionally. Marc Campbell had a print out sheet for 88 lines. I saw them again at the Phoenix in Toronto and Campbell was wasted by the 2nd set. Still, the first set was good. They should have been big. gb kingston

  • These guys are so cool, before the internet.

  • @bcnlv1 Yup you hit the Nail right on the head. Get it? Nail?

    Thanks!
